EFTPOS facilities are available at most restaurants and shops and most credit cards are accepted at most establishments.
 
BBQ'S & Picnics
BBQ facilities can be found at DP Hut and Scrubbers End. Other picnic sites include JB Plain, Champagne Point, Stonehenge or create your own special spot.

Car Parking
Please park in designated area at your accommodation and around the village. Fines will be issued for vehicles parked in no standing areas.

DP Hut  Day parking only
Scrubbers End Permit only parking for overnight visitors to Dinner Plain.
Permits must be obtained from your accommodation provider and displayed when parked at Scrubbers End.

Firewood
Firewood can be purchased from local operator Lee Rourke 0417 352 340.

Public toilets are located at the DP Hut and Scrubbers End Car Park.

Snow Chains Hire & Fitting
It is compulsory to carry chains during the winter season. Please ensure you hire chains before you head up the mountain we recommend Rays Ski Hire in Myrtleford.
 
Snow Clearing
Please check that vehicles are not parked along roadways due to snow clearing operations.

There are six free-to-air channels.

Please note that weather conditions can adversely affect reception.

Dinner Plain TV features information and events and can be located on channel 12 (224.25hmz).

Waste & Recycling Services
Collection days during peak periods: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As required at other times. Collection is done manually. Please use the supplied bags and secure all bags for easy identification and sorting.

Clear Bags Recyclables

Rubbish in boxes, plastic bags or loose material will not be collected due to health and safety issues.

Please place rubbish in the hutch at the front of your property. Additional bags and recycling brochures can be acquired from your accommodation provider, the Visitor Information Centre or by phoning Dinner Plain Services on 51596471.
