Merrigang Chalet

Positive: The location was great! Negative: The property manager wouldn't answer numerous calls or voice message, but then returned a call from my friend who didn't leave a message. We were unable to access the property, as the pin to access the keys were sent to a number that wasn't ours, despite us following the instructions. The property was also advertised at $363 on sale, but they then charged over $450. Plus be aware they also take a $500 bond, so almost $1000 will be held against your account for one night accommodation. As we could not access the property, and had to sleep in our cars due to not being provided with details and the property manager not returning a single call from myself, I cannot comment on the interior of the accommodation.

Cute little cabin Positive: Nice and cosy, great heating and great location close to the shops Negative: The 4pm check in (lucky enough to get in at 3pm)

Was really great and really cozy will come back for sure Positive: The location n cozyness of the house Negative: Need more items in the house like tea or coffee oil

I do not recommend Merrigang Chalet to anyone. Not to mention we weren’t able to check in till 4pm because it was being Positive: The Location… Negative: Disgusting. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Floor was dirty. Stained Towels, urine stains on the mattresses.

Positive: The building itself and location Negative: Hospitality was very average. Only half a bog roll for a 4 night stay costing over 1900 dollars - we had to buy our own after we asked where the spare bog roll was and received no response. Also, they need to do an inventory of the items in the kitchen because they had about 20 forks and 1 dessert spoon.
