Alpine Getaways – Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

By making a booking with Alpine Getaways, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once payment has been received. By making any payment towards your reservation, you agree to pay the full booking amount as confirmed at the time of booking.

Upon confirmation, the accommodation is reserved exclusively for your use and removed from sale, preventing other guests from booking the property.

Cancellation & Amendments

All bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

No refunds will be provided once any payment has been made, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

No changes to arrival or departure dates are permitted once any payment has been made.

Bookings cannot be transferred to another property, another guest, or held as a credit for future stays.

Failure to arrive (no-show) or early departure does not entitle the guest to any refund, credit or reduction in charges.

We strongly encourage guests to ensure they are able to travel before booking.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.

Travel insurance may provide cover for unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to:

Illness or injury

Family emergencies

Vehicle breakdowns

Flight or transport delays

Road closures

Severe weather conditions

Changes to personal circumstances

A decision not to purchase travel insurance remains the responsibility of the guest.

Security Bond

A security bond applies to every booking.

The bond must be successfully completed prior to arrival. Property access details, including check-in instructions and key collection information, will not be released until the bond has been secured.

The bond may be used to cover, but is not limited to:

Damage to the property or its contents

Excessive cleaning

Missing or damaged items

Additional guests beyond those booked

Breaches of house rules

Late departure resulting in additional costs

Loss of keys or remote controls

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: From 4:00 pm

Check-out: No later than 10:00 am

Guests must vacate the accommodation and all allocated parking spaces by 10:00 am.

Late departures may incur additional charges where they delay cleaning, maintenance or incoming guest arrivals.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

Leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.

Wash, dry and put away all dishes before departure.

Dispose of rubbish in accordance with the property's departure instructions.

Report any damage or maintenance issues promptly.

Comply with all house rules supplied with the booking.

Guests are responsible for any loss, damage or additional cleaning costs resulting from their stay.

Property Availability

In the unlikely event that a booked property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Alpine Getaways' reasonable control (including emergency repairs, safety issues or owner withdrawal), every reasonable effort will be made to provide comparable alternative accommodation.

Where a suitable alternative cannot be provided, guests will be offered either:

a full refund of monies paid; or

the option to transfer the booking to alternative available dates.

This will constitute Alpine Getaways' full liability.

Force Majeure

Alpine Getaways is not liable for cancellations, interruptions or inability to provide accommodation arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Bushfires

Floods

Storms

Snow events or road closures

Government restrictions

Utility failures

Pandemics or public health emergencies

Acts of terrorism

Industrial action or transport disruptions

Where accommodation remains available for occupancy, the standard cancellation policy continues to apply.

Pricing & Availability

Rates and availability are subject to change until a booking has been confirmed.

Errors or omissions in pricing may be corrected prior to confirmation.

Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.

These Terms and Conditions form part of the accommodation agreement between the guest and Alpine Getaways.
