Twelve on Albert, Beechworth - Rooms

Beautiful room and surrounds. Positive: The room was very comfortable with a nice mattress, linen and pillows. Bathroom has a full sized bath. Iron was good. Nice kettle. Fridge in the room. Negative: Contactless check in with no personal touches, greeting or instructions about the property. We booked a boutique hotel for the warmth and personal touches you normally get. We felt uncomfortable using the shared lounge or garden as there was no information about this. It would have been wonderful to have some local goods used in the room - local soap, local tea and coffee, maybe a pastry or biscuit from a local cafe. If no personal greeting on arrival would be nice to have a letter in your room with some info on our stay and on the hotel and surrounds.

Old style charm - comfortable stay. Positive: Location Negative: A bit dark and cold inside on arrival as no one was around. Key was in a key safe.

Very comfortable and lovely location. Positive: comfortable room - very nicely appointed. Easy accesss to shopping, good communications throughout.
