Twelve on Albert, Beechworth - Adults ONLY

Positive: Loved the verandah and the quiet. Very close to main town. Negative: No good tv like Netflix options etc. Volume button didn't work either. No bench space for making coffee or snacks etc. Or shelving in bathroom for toiletries. But very comfortable otherwise. Lovely room.

Uncomplicated check in and checkout. Discreet and yet welcoming. Great for a group. Positive: The gardens and ambience of the guest accomodation. Undercover parking onsite, included in tariff. Negative: Nothing

Good value for money

Comfortable Positive: Room was well appointed and in winter the loungroom would be cosy with afire. The bathroom was spacious and gracious. No breakfast. No staff contact made it impersonal. Location pleasant. lovely garden and vedandah but noise from road made it unappealing to sit in. Negative: See above

Magical, beautiful and a gift for the soul. Positive: Magnificent gardens, room furnishings and spa. The building was like stepping into an English picture book. Furnishings were soft and restful with beautiful wallpaper and decor matching the bed linen and cushions. The garden and building had many areas to sit and relax to enjoy the autumn colours, roses and garden decorations. The building has beautiful climbing plants up the walls and a water feature at the front entrance. The rooms inside the entrance had lovely antique furniture and seats to enjoy reading or playing board games. Negative: I was initially disappointed breakfast wasn’t provided, however the coffee was excellent. I quickly realised the many places nearby drew me out to explore dining options and their decor was rich and rustic with antiques, open fire places, and so much history. This complimented my visit and I would love to return with friends next time for a longer stay.
