High Plains Lodge

We loved staying at Dinner Plain Positive: The venue and the area surrounding was beautiful. Enjoyed the walks at Dinner Plain Negative: The rooms had paper thin walls. The venue downstairs had a very loud disco until 1am. We were not made aware of this event. People from this event stayed in the room next door, very loud and noisy most of the night. Including sounds that should remain silent and private especially as young family and children stay at this venue. Besides this night the venue was extremely quiet and enjoyable.

Best stay Positive: Close to everything Negative: Nothing

Positive: The location was great, and the food and drinks at the restaurant/bar were really good. Negative: The apartment was not clean. Very dusty and cobwebs all over the walls and ceiling. Pillows and mattress were horrible. For the price paid I’d expect better care.

Not ideal. Positive: The location Negative: Mouldy shower. Most uncomfortable bed Noisiest hallway The room next to us had release 10 people in there. Bed sheets were stained.

Lovely affordable stay, bring some ear plugs to sleep through the noise Positive: Room size is good and functional mini kitchen was great. Negative: Noisy most nights and early mornings. Mostly with guests arriving throughout the night banging luggage into walls and paper thin walls.
